July 4th Parade – Wisconsin Morgan Horse Parade Unit at the Witwen Celebration in Blackhawk, 10:30 a.m.

July 18-20, 2024 --Morgan Masterpiece, Sunnyview Exposition Center, Oshkosh, WI

July 25-27, North Star Morgan Show, Winona Equestrian Center, Winona, MN

August 16-18, 2024 - Badger Steam and Gas Show --If you have never been to this event, you have never seen anything like it.  4 acres of swap meet with every kind of primitive, farm, vintage item you can imagine. Acres of permanent buildings with blacksmith shops, sawmill, old time gas station, and hundreds of vintage tractors and steam engines on display.  Daily parade of tractors and engines.  Food, ice cream, live music, free parking, shuttle from parking lot to main gate.  

August 28-31, 2024, Jubilee Regional Morgan Show, Springfield, IL

August 31, 2024 –Wisconsin Morgan Horse Club Parade Unit at Tournament of Chips Parade, Sauk Prairie Wi, Noon

Congrats to Jackie on Ellie's first foal!

Congratulations to Jackie on the arrival of Ellie's first foal, a beautiful palomino filly by an Andalusian stallion.  We were thrilled for Ellie to find a new home with Jackie Malecki of Westly Training in Westfiled, WI, in September 2022.  Even better, Ellie was put straight to work and proved she had inherited her sire's reliability and willingness by doing great in new situations like steep trails and crossing water.  It is very gratifying to have such a good match made between one of our horses and a great horsewoman like Jackie.

Congratulations to Reggie's new owner!

Congrats to Joslyn on her purchase of Oldfield Reveille. Reggie's quick athleticism appealed to this confident young rider who plans to do eventing and other high level performance with him.  We could not be happier for the both of you.

2020 Foal - Of Thee I Sing, a bay filly

A bay FILLY in the Cinnamon King- Durango-Boomer-Oldfield Sailor sire line is a rare thing, but breeding to a bay mare helps and in 2020, we got a gem.   This is "Of Thee I Sing" --Caddie in the barn -- stretching her impressive legs in the summer of 2020. She is by Sailor and out of Oldfield Jann C. We are hoping for a full sibling in 2022 that looks just like her.

Congratulations to Iris' new owner!

Congratulations to Amanda Sweno on the purchase of Oldfield Wild Iris! Iris” is an elegant 2013, 15-hand bay mare who was Top Ten in the World Champion 3 Year Old Western Pleasure at Oklahoma City.  An in-hand reserve champion as a yearling, she grew up beautiful with show horse attitude and a great work ethic. Amanda and Iris made a very strong connection, and we are looking forward to years of a productive partnershiup between them.

Oldfield Wild Iris, Top Ten Three Year Old Western Pleasure

Congratulations to Oldfield Wild Iris, who with the expert guidance of Jim Riggs, scored a Top Ten finish in Three Year Old Western Pleasure Morgan World Championship in Oklahoma City in 2016.  We are very proud of Iris and appreciative of Jim's ability to bring her to such a good result in her first year under saddle.  Iris is now on the farm, being a horse and learning to live in a herd, after being a show diva in a barn since she was a yearling.  She is future broodmare for us and down the road, a western dressage horse.
